My day off was well spent sleeping. With a typhoon around there was little point to going out.
We watched another Studio Ghibli anime, "Laputa", and ate some freshly made popcorn. It's not a bad story. Surely, not as needlessly complicated and confusing as other Ghibli films, but I liked others better.
I think "My Neighbour, Totoro" is now my favourite. Totoro is such a funny and cool character. He says nothing, but his facial expressions and movements are amusingly endearing.
Later we watched, "So I Married An Axe Murderer". Still a classic, but not quite as funny as when I viewed first time around.
That night I had a craving for old school NES gaming. I downloaded Nestopia, a mac OS NES emulator.
It works fine on my Intel Mac. Who says Macs aren't good for games?
